Voting and Living in Sarasota

Sarasota Poll Volunteer
If you are a Sarasota resident, you know how wonderful it is to vote and live in Saraota. The entire process took me approximately 25 minutes from "door to door". When you live in a Sarasota home that is centrally located most of your daily routine can be accomplished in minutes.

The poll workers yesterday were polite and helpful. Everything was very organized and nothing like the reports I heard on television about long lines. It's nice to live where a huge percentage of the population votes and not be stressed!

That's the way it is here in Myrtle Beach, too. I would hate to live somewhere that you had to drive 20 minutes to get to something. I put less than 8000 miles on my car last year!

I think there were about 6 people at the high school when I went to vote.

I remember that about Myrtle Beach, Jan. It's wonderful to live and enjoy the convenience of a small town yet Sarasota has the amenities of a big city such as the opera, the ballet and theater.

Its always been easy to vote in my small town. Its a fimute walk to the polls. Its been at the same location for over 30 years. The most I have waited has been 5 minutes. I vote in 90% of the elections.

My people do not always win but I will be there to vote.

It always takes me a few minute to figure out how to comment on the Blogger sites. LSU has no quarterback this year but with a good team. We will have to wait till next year.
