Forest Lakes Country Club
The HOA Board of Forest Lakes Country Club was notified the end of December 2005, by the FLCCE Golf Course Super, Jay Nash, that "construction, spraying, heavy equipment, etc." will begin all over the course effective January 1. Jay asked that everyone stay off the course (no walking, jogging, dogs, kids, etc.). Spraying underway "is the beginning of the $2 million+ golf course renovation plan in which the first step is to kill the invasive grasses that currently exist on all holes." Please note the course is posted with "No Trespassing/Dedicated Construction Site" signs.
Redesign and renovation 
of the golf course started as reported on January 1 and there's lots of "big truck" activity as Sarasota County prepares for laying pipe and preparation for the construction of the new approved homes in Sarasota along the fairway off Hyde Park.
The clubhouse demolition is underway and crews have escalated mobilizing for the golf course renovation. We'll keep you updated on the improvements to this "hot" community as this Sarasota Real Estate News progresses.
